Please could you check that you are ordering these rings for a 28mm diameter curtain pole, to check this please measure your curtain pole from the top to bottom, if it measures 28mm the rings are correct. If your pole measures 35mm then these will be too large as they are larger so that they can move on a 35mm pole.

Internal diameter of a 28mm ring is approximately 43mm and a 35mm ring is approximately 48.5mm.
